Igor Does My Mic is back and louder than ever, but this time we’re trading punchlines for power ballads. That’s right: on Saturday, May 31, we’re hosting the very first Edgewater Idol Edition of our beloved open mic night — a full-blown singing competition where vocals meet bicycle vibes.

🎶 What’s Going Down

We’re turning our neighborhood bike shop into a stage for one unforgettable night of music, food, and community spirit.

  • 📍 Where: Igor Does My Bike – 5454 N. Broadway St., Chicago

  • 🕕 When: Saturday, May 31 from 6PM–9PM (performers arrive at 5:30PM)

  • 💸 Cover: FREE (because we love you)

  • 🧃 Perks: Free drinks & snacks, good company, and major bragging rights

🏆 Here's How It Works

Every performer will sing two songs:

  1. One bike-themed song (interpret that however you like — originals, parodies, clever covers welcome!)

  2. One crowd-pleasing sing-along to get the whole shop buzzing

We'll provide the mic and amp — you bring the vocals and flair. Prizes include gift cards to Igor Does My Bike, valid on bikes, repairs, accessories, and rentals. And yes, the best vocalist of the night takes home a $200 cash prize. (No autotune necessary.)
